Image of the Week

Blood Of The Lamb.jpg

“A Lusty Novel About FLORIDA CRACKERS” Sold. You are dying to crack this open and you know it. I have a bunch of illustrations from pulp paperbacks that are all kinds of awesome. They all seem to have a woman on the cover with some torn, or unbuttoned, blouse on. A couple are just in underwear, wrapped in a bed sheet, or in the buff, but that was obviously reserved for the really raunchy stuff. And they all have some creepy guy lurking in the picture ready to partake in some nefarious act. It was definitely a formula. Hot woman: Check. Racy tag line: Check. Some creepy, lecherous, scumbag: Check.

Side note: She is obviously outdoors to grab the laundry, but the shirts in the basket are perfectly folded and starched. It looks like she just filled that basket up at a Macys men’s sale.

I will have to post some more of these. They crack me up.

Image of the Week

Okay, so in my world “post tomorrow” means a week from now. Sue me. I found out you trust your motherboards fan controller more than a third party one. Lesson learned.

Today’s entry is George Harrison. Well it’s supposed to be George Harrison. In the form of a 40 year old cereal toy prize. He is not in the best shape, but hey, what do you expect for free.

Last weekend I was playing with my sons and they were pulling out every action figure, army man, and plastic animal they could find to participate in a take no prisioners fight to the death. While this battle royal was reaching a fevered pitch I started noticing how goofy they looked when you realy looked at them. So needless to say after the carnage of battle, I grabbed a couple handfuls of their toys, and some of my toys, and my camera and shot some close-ups of them. This one is from the my toys pile. I will have to edit the rest and post a gallery of toy close-ups.

Stay posted.

Browser Crushing.

Obviously I can not leave well enough alone. The damn site is working good and yet I keep wanting to screw with it. It’s kind of like playing the old SimCity. I got a well built city with a happy populous and all the modern conveniences I could lay in there… it’s time for a tsunami! My problem here is that I like messing with the graphics so now I have a site that will crush any dial-up in a single load. Oh well I guess have decided to cater to a broadband crowd.

After 4 months I am fairly happy. Now I just need to work on consistency. Right now Image of the Week is more like Image of every other Week. I will post tomorrow I promise. And with the thousand some odd ads that I have for some reason only 4 have made it to the gallery. I suck I know.

Good news is I have started my Rock n’ Roll page chronicling my brief career as guitar superhero. This is a work in progress but will have a ton of items up soon. I have a gallery of flyers there now and will add some demo tape recordings in the next week.

Stay tuned and Happy Holidays.
