1974. I don’t think it even has to be said. Mom’s outfit looks like something worn by Jodi Foster’s character in “Taxi Driver”. The bug eyed glasses and the blouse tied off midriff. Hair pulled back into barrettes. The high waisted jeans with the little decorations on the pockets. And the perfect 70′s accessory, that leather work purse. God I don’t think I have seen one of those since ’76. The little girl is spectacular. The sour puss face. The big sunglasses. And if you look closely you can see she is in one of those little kiddy harnesses. Everyone is just ripe for their day at Disneyland.
Now normally I never remember where I have gotten any of my internet finds because I am usually looking for some piece of reference and stumble upon some gem. I stash it and move on and at some later date I will sort out the stuff I want to keep. But this I saw just recently on a blog that I occasionally peruse. “Stuff from the Park” is a blog dedicated to old pictures from Disneyland and other amusement parks, usually around SoCal. So if that happens to be of an interest to you check him out here.
E-ticket.
