Blurry Photo Gallery.

One of the collections from my previous sites was made up of photos taken over the years with very little plan, purpose, or concern for what would traditionally make a “good” photograph. Many of them were shot by simply sticking a camera or phone out the window, snapping pictures while moving, or aimlessly pointing the lens at whatever happened to be nearby. Composition, focus, framing, and timing were often accidental at best — and that became part of the charm.

Over time, the collection turned into a kind of accidental art project: a gallery of motion, light, mood, blur, color, reflection, and strange little moments the camera caught along the way. Some images feel abstract, some feel like fragments of memory, and some are just wonderfully odd. They may not be technically perfect photographs, but they capture something I enjoy — the weird beauty that can happen when you stop trying too hard and just let the camera grab whatever is passing by.

As I go through the old files, I’ll be collecting and posting the ones that still catch my eye. Enjoy.
